Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 May 2026

These terms govern your use of the Boatflow platform — the marketing site at boatflow.in, the Boatflow management app, and the customer booking sites we host on your behalf. By signing up, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't sign up.

1. The service

Boatflow is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for houseboat businesses. We provide booking management, agent management, customer lead capture, a WhatsApp inbox, Razorpay payment links, reports and a customer-facing booking site.

2. Subscription & fees

Boatflow is a paid subscription service for boat owners and travel agencies. Plans are billed monthly or yearly via Razorpay and are described on our pricing page. There is no per-booking fee and no per-agent fee — you pay a flat subscription for your chosen plan. If we change our pricing, current users will be given reasonable notice and the option to export their data before any change takes effect.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18+ and operating a legitimate boat / travel business in India.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at signup.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and access tokens secure.
  • One account per business / agency. You can invite team members as agents under your account.
  • We may verify your business before activating your account. We may decline activation at our discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal activity or to facilitate any illegal booking
  • Send spam, harassing or misleading communications to customers via WhatsApp or email
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data, reverse-engineer the platform, or probe its security
  • Upload malware, viruses, or content that infringes someone else's copyright
  • Resell access, share login credentials outside your team, or run multiple businesses on one account
  • Scrape the platform or build a competing service using data harvested from it

Violation can result in immediate suspension. Repeated or serious violation results in permanent removal.

5. Your data, your customers

The bookings, customers, leads and content you put into Boatflow belong to you. We act as a processor on your behalf. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. We don't use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

6. Payments via Razorpay

Boatflow does not process payments directly. Payment links are created against your own Razorpay account using credentials you provide. Funds settle directly to your bank account from Razorpay. We don't take a cut. You are responsible for your Razorpay agreement, KYC, GST, refund handling and chargebacks.

7. WhatsApp messaging

The WhatsApp inbox uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API. You must operate within Meta's Business Messaging Policy. You are responsible for the WhatsApp Business number you connect, for opt-in consent from your customers, and for any consequences of policy violations (template rejection, account quality limits).

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We perform scheduled maintenance and may need to take the platform offline briefly. We will give advance notice for planned outages whenever possible.

9. Account suspension and deletion

  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, fail KYC, or appear to be spam.
  • Suspended accounts cannot log in. Data is preserved for 90 days for appeals.
  • You can delete your account at any time. Your data is permanently removed within 30 days of deletion.
  • Customer booking sites on your domain will go offline immediately on account deletion.

10. Intellectual property

The Boatflow platform, source code, design, branding and trademarks belong to us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the platform for your business while your account is active. Anything you upload — boats, photos, descriptions — remains yours; you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to provide the service.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we work hard to keep things running, we do not warrant the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to ₹10,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages including lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your use of the platform, (b) content you upload, (c) your violation of these terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active accounts via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
